So from where this olive first came from? John Boyles, a restaurateur claims that it was his father who introduced the, First and foremost olive burgers under the name Kewpee hamburgers in 1923. Later Boyles used his father’s recipe in a chain initiated by him and now olive burger is one of the popular food delicacies all around the world!!


  • 1 toasted hamburger bun
  • 6 ounces of ground beef
  • Olive topping

Olive topping ( 4-6 servings)

  • 1 cup of sliced or chopped green olives
  • 8 ounces of cream cheese
  • 2-3 ounces of olive juice

Step – Mix the green olives and olive juice with cream cheese


  1. Cook your burger over medium to high heat until you get the desired doneness. It will take 10- 15 minutes.
  2. Place the burger patty inside the split bun and add the olive topping
